The Diplomat is a 18-story 64-unit highrise on the Wilshire Corridor in Westwood. Built in 1982 by Diplomat Corp at a cost of $50M, the architect was Krisel/Shapiro & Associates, and the general contractor was Swinerton & Walberg Co. Condos on the upper floors have incredible views. I love that there are so many windows. The windows are tinted for privacy.

The Diplomat has 4 units per floor. All of the floorplans are a single story. No special floorplans for the penthouse level. The 01 and 02 stack faces Wilshire and the 03 and 04 stacks face the rear. The building is on the south side of Wilshire. South facing condos have unobstructed views of Westwood, Century City, and West Los Angeles. The Units that face South with better views are larger. All of the floorplans are 2 bedrooms 3 baths and range in SQFT from 1,800 sqft to 2,400 sqft. The larger units also have a den that can be converted to a 3rd bedroom. I love the windows in the Diplomat, the way the building is designed they let in tons of natural light. Can it be Hardwood? Kitchens have electric stoves and are galley style.
