Kings Manor is a 30-unit midrise condo building centrally located in West Hollywood. Built in 1968, it was condo converted in 1979. The HOA spent $100,000 in 2016 to revamp the hallways and lobby- replacing the carpets, painting the walls, smoothing the ceilings, purchasing furniture and artwork, and replacing the door numbers. This is giving a newer feel to a building that needs updating. The next project I expect to see is an exterior paint.


Kings Manor has a central walking location being nearly on top of Santa Monica Blvd. Across the street from Kings Manor is West Hollywood’s Gelsons Market, if you are the type that likes to go grocery shopping every day. There a bunch of great restaurants that you can walk to- Basix Café,  La Boheme,  Joeys Restaurant, Hugo’s– they have a lot of vegetarian options and excellent tea!,  and Hamburger Mary’s which is famous for it’s bingo night and outrageous drag shows. In the strip mall across the street from 1045 Kings is Holloway Dry Cleaners, which has been there forever. They have an ultra white shirt treatment that is amazing! In addition there is a pocket park that is quite popular with young families- King’s Road Park at 1000 N Kings Rd.
