Docusign is a online digital signature service that allows clients to sign documents from their email. The service is incredibly easy to use and very intuitive.
An email will arrive in your inbox from James Campbell Via Docusign.
Open the email and click View Documents.
You will be taken to docusign and it’s a simple click to sign each signature on the document. The electronic signature looks like this:
Once the document is completed -it is automatically sent to me. It’s so easy to use!
Clients love docusign because it is very convenient, quick, and easy! It is a lot easier than the alternatives for signing documents- scanning + emailing, faxing, or snail mail.
Occasionally lenders of bank owned properties or short sales will demand that documents be signed with “wet signatures” which is to say no electronic signatures. In those cases follow the lenders. Electronic signatures are accepted in regular sales.
